Attaching Sales Person to Sale

Many retail stores follow the policy of commission-based sales where salespersons commission is calculated according to the number of sales s/he has made. In Nimbus RMS cloud retail software you can not only attach a sale to a salesperson but you can also attach each item to a different salesperson in a single receipt.

Let’s learn how to do it.

Selecting Sales Person for the entire sale

If a single person has facilitated the entire sale, the cashier (or whosoever is making the sales receipt) can add the salesperson’s name from the Salesperson field.

Or you can easily select the salesperson by pressing F1 in the  Salesperson field.

The Store Employee list will appear.

From the list, select the salesperson you want to load.

Note: The name of a salesperson will appear in the salesperson help window only if the ‘Set as Sales Person’ checkbox on the Store Employees screen is checked for that employee.

Attaching Sales Person to Each Item

In big retail stores, different salespersons are responsible for facilitating sales in various departments. Item wise sale person feature in Nimbus RMS helps you attach each item with its sale person.

Note: To use this feature Item Wise Sale Person checkbox on Configuration>System Configuration>Sale should be checked.

To attach item wise sale person, expand the item filed in the cart by clicking the plus sign in blue color.

From the salesperson dropdown, select the salesperson you want to attach to the item.
