To access receipt setting, go to the Utilities>Setup & Configuration>Receipt Page Setup from the main menu.
Receipt Page Setup Steps
Select Receipt Type
From the Receipt Type drop-down menu, select the desired receipt format. A live preview of the selected receipt will be displayed on the right side of the screen.
Below the Receipt Type field, you will see three expandable options:
- Show Receipt Margins
- Show Receipt Config
- Show Receipt Logo

1. Show Receipt Margins
Expanding the Show Receipt Margins section will display two fields to adjust the receipt’s Top and Left margins.
Note: By default, both margins are set to zero. However, due to printer settings or incompatible drivers, the printed receipt may appear misaligned. These margin settings allow you to correct that.
Top Margin
If the top of the receipt (e.g., the store name or header) appears cut off or lacks space, you can increase the top margin by clicking the up arrow.
If there is too much space at the top, click the down arrow to reduce the margin—use negative values if necessary.
Left Margin
Use this field if the text on the printed receipt appears too close to the left edge or lacks proper spacing.
Click the up arrow to increase the left margin.
If the left margin is too wide, click the down arrow to reduce it, using negative values if needed.
2. Show Receipt Configuration
Expanding the Show Receipt Config section reveals a range of options to customize the sales receipt based on your business needs. This section is divided into two parts:

A. Receipt Options (Checkbox Settings)
You will see a list of checkboxes. Select the options relevant to your setup:
Enable Print Preview Receipt: Displays a preview of the receipt on the Sales and Return screen before printing.
Enable Print Receipt: Allows the system to print the sales receipt during a transaction on the Sales and Return screen.
Print Item Name: Includes the item name on the printed sales receipt.
Print Item Code: Includes the item code on the printed sales receipt.
Print Serial #: Prints the serial numbers for serial-number items on the receipt.
Show GST on Receipt: Displays the GST amount on the sales receipt.
Show Customer’s Ledger on Sales Receipts: Includes the customer’s ledger information on the printed receipt.
Print Receipt Number on Receipt: Displays the receipt number on the printed receipt.
Print Sales Comments on Receipt: If comments are added during the transaction on the Sales and Return screen, this option prints those comments on the receipt.
B. Text Customization Fields
Two additional fields are available to personalize your receipt with custom text:
Receipt Caption: Enter the text to display as the title at the top of the receipt. Example: If you enter “Purchase Slip,” this will appear as the header on the printed receipt.
Receipt Footer Text: Enter the text you want to display at the bottom of the receipt. This is typically used for a Thank You note or Return/Exchange policy.
3. Show Receipt Logo

Expanding the Show Receipt Logo link will display an option to upload a logo for your sales receipt.
Click the Upload File button to select and upload your logo image.
Ensure that the image size does not exceed 100 KB.
Note: If the uploaded logo does not appear on the receipt, go to:
General Utilities > Sync Master Data
This action will refresh the data and ensure the logo is properly displayed.
After selecting the settings of your choice click the Save button to apply the selected settings.
