What is ABS (Amount Based Selling)?
ABS allows you to enter the amount the customer wants to spend, and the system will automatically calculate the quantity based on the item’s per-unit price.
Example:
If sugar is Rs. 200/kg and your customer wants Rs. 300 worth, enter 300 in the ABS field. Nimbus RMS will automatically calculate the quantity as 1.5 kg.
Where to Find the ABS Option
You can access the ABS field directly from the Sales and Return screen:
Add the item to the sales grid.
Click the “+” icon next to the item.
You will see a field labeled ABS (Amount Based Sale).
Enter the amount (e.g., 300).
The quantity will update automatically based on the item’s unit price
Things to Keep in Mind
Ensure the item has a unit price defined (e.g., per kg, per litre).
